Here is the format for the 3 point contest NEW!!!!
3 pt. contest is THREE 3
pointers from 5 different spots on
the floor, (each corner and each
wing, and the top of the key) without a time limit (or with a time limit
long enough so the boys don't have to rush each shot but not long enough so
they can line each one up). This way balls aren't flying all around the gym.
The top three scorers would then go to the finals , the contest is repeated with the 3 finalists and the score is carried over from the first round - person with mostmade 3 pointers in both round wins. In case of tie, take one 3 pointer from each spot to determine winner. Winners receive an award - each town can enter one player for the Free Throw Contest and one player for the 3 point contest. Each grade has a contest. Coaches - please volunteer to help
